About

I'm originally from Seattle and have my BA in music from the University of Puget Sound. I'm a master teacher and have been teaching for over 30 years. My students participate in recitals, festivals and competitions, and have done very well. I'm in charge of the Gateway Piano Festival in Saint Louis, and encourage everyone to participate. If you are interested in setting up a free trial lesson, text me at (206) 852-7185. I love seeing students enjoy music, make progress and develop a sense of accomplishment.

My 8 year old daughter has been with Ms. Foster for a little over a year and we have had a wonderful experience. I cant say enough great things about Ms. Foster and her teaching style. She is patient, engaging, and encouraging. She instills self discipline in her students and holds them accountable for practicing. She also builds students confidence and pushes them to reach their potential. My daughter had her first piano recital in December and she did wonderful! I am so impressed with the progress she is making with Ms. Fosters program!
