For many years in Chicago, I owned and operated a private chef/private catering service - and party style cooking classes were a conerstone of that service.
I am a self taught chef, and believe that one should just feel confident from grocery shopping to creating a magical meal reminiscent of your favorite restaurant - let's have fun!
I will assist you in planning your class - and you can have an intimate class for two, where we work on each course, and while you enjoy, I prepare for the next... or a girls night cooking class where you all get to learn how to make your favorite dishes.
I want you to have fun, learn, and have a full belly! Recipes packets included!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we have a conversation about how the client would like to see the class unfold - is it a party atmosphere, something serious, celebrating something, is it strictly instructional or more relaxed with a watch and learn experience (and eat, of course)
Then, we start working on a custom menu - once the menu is finalized, I will shop for all the ingredients, except for basic pantry items. I write the recipes, and make recipe packets for each class.
I typically arrive about 45 minutes before the class begins to get things ready, and then we begin! Best part - I will ensure your kitchen is completely cleaned up from the class, with any leftovers placed in the fridge.
