My job is to make sure you have safe and effective fun while using basic choreography to explore the various flavors of music and the feelings that go with them. I'm a licensed Zumba instructor since October 2016 (CPR certified) but have been doing Zumba since 2011. I love the confidence it builds and the comradery you get from doing something you love and sharing it with people. I love watching people bloom as they explore what they are truly capable of and discover just how fun fitness can actually be. My class is literally a party and if it doesn't feel like one, I'm doing something wrong.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to explore exactly what my participants are looking to accomplish. I then help them set realistic goals based on their current lifestyle, fitness and activity levels. Zumba should never feel like a workout, it should feel like going to a party that has the added effect of being good for you :D
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licesened Zumba instructor and affiliate as of October 2016. AFAA Certification Pending (to be completed the end of 9/2017). Currently mentoring and substituting, and co-hosting zumba classes
