Hello! I am a classically trained pianist who has been teaching for 30+ years…

I’ve started students as young as 3— and up to 83. Each student is unique and has his/her own way of learning, so I tailor my teaching method slightly to best suit each one… while making sure the lessons are always enjoyable. I make sure to include theory within the lessons— after all, knowing the foundation of the music is just as important as the music itself. I take great pride that my students don’t realize how much they’re learning and discovering because they’re enjoying their lessons so much. Nothing makes me happier than hearing “Wow! That time flew!” or “Could we go a little longer?”

Circle of fifths, scales, arpeggios and technique can actually be fun! 😉🎶
