Violin has always been a part of my life. As a toddler, I was found with a pot and ladle using it as a "fiddle" to play along to my grandfather playing bluegrass music on his banjo. By the age of four, I had my own violin and began taking lessons. I have over 15 years of classical training on the violin including the Suzuki method and education from lifelong musicians, professional violinists from Juliard and at Lehigh Univeristy. I also have been a musician at Catholic Church services for over 10 years. I have been a beginner violin instructor for over 5 years and have a passion for expressing my love of music to my students.
I love working with children and people of any age. It's a beautiful journey to go on with my students to teach them how to play the violin. I hold my teaching process to what works best to the student based on what they want to get out of their music experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a new student, we will first go over the expectations and coordinate a day to meet in person and get to know each other a little and start from the basics - even if that's helping you find a violin that's right for you before we start! We will then arrange our length and frequency of lessons. Lastly, you will begin to learn the art of playing the violin!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- 15+ years classical violin training
- 10 + years as violinist, pianist, and music organizer in Catholic Churches

Yes, beginner lessons start at $25 for a 30 minute lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when a local family from my church asked if I would teach their daughter violin while I was in high school. I absolutely loved teaching her how to play the violin and through word of mouth I began to teach other students in my town.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have primarily worked with students ages 3-14.
