About
From energetic preschoolers to school-age students with an interest in the arts, my music students have found the violin to be a great creative outlet. I have been teaching violin since 2018. My focus is primarily classical and sacred music, but I also like to incorporate tunes/genres familiar to the student. I have 11 years of experience playing the violin and have played for many special events (weddings/church worship team). My music instructor studied under interns of Juilliard School and Curtis Institute.
From classical, to sacred, to Disney songs, I love seeing my students enjoy playing tunes they love while learning new music skills. Seeing the light of understanding and pleasure dawn in a student's eyes as they journey through the world of music is so rewarding!

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My music instructor studied under interns of Juilliard School and Curtis Institute. I primarily studied classical, sacred, and worship music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 for a 30-minute violin lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
As a young child, I dreamed of being able to play the violin. After sharing my musical abilities with others through playing in worship bands and for other special events, I desired to pass my knowledge on to others so that they too could have a creative outlet and use the music of the violin to bring pleasure to those around them.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have primarily worked with school-age children (pre-school to high school). As they give themselves to fun, consistent practice, those around them have noticed their musical interests and abilities expand and their natural talents strengthened. My students with high energy and difficulty concentrating have grown in their attention span and learned to channel some of their energy through this creative outlet.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
At a private concert this spring, I accompanied my family band with reels on the fiddle and classical pieces on the cello. In my free time, I enjoy gardening and growing in my creative skills on the cello, Irish whistle, and violin and am currently writing the sequel to my published children's book, Invasion from Within.
