Adam Triebold Music Studio

My name is Adam Triebold. I'm a musician from Whitewater, Wisconsin. I love music, and I have since I was young. I owe so much of that to my parents and many dedicated teachers who saw a spark in me and helped it grow into a roaring blaze. That fire, music, has shaped my life, giving me incredible experiences and introducing me to many fascinating people. Now, as a teacher, I want to spread the flame.

Imagine if all the world’s music were suddenly turned off. Your favorite television program no longer has a theme song, your car radio plays static, and your prized record collection vanishes into thin air. What kind of world would this be without music, without a guitar by the campfire, without a mother's lullaby, without rock and roll? What would we have without music?

Everybody loves music. Who can't think of a favorite song or a memorable concert? Music pervades our lives, and it deserves to be shared. Music brings us together. Music ignites something deep inside us, something primitive yet incredible. We get lost in the music; we forget our problems and even our differences, and we are reminded of our humanity.

Music education has a lasting effect on students. They learn to be responsible. They learn to listen and rely on each other and on themselves. Their minds are broadened to the global community, and they become more attune to their place as a global citizen. Music brings us together; it deserves to be shared.

Music educators carry an important torch. It is our job to find the spark in a new generation and ignite it. It is up to us to spread the flame.
