Christina Ensign has been pursuing her passion for music education for the past 10 years and is excited to continue expanding her Lincoln studio. Christina's experience is in teaching saxophone, clarinet, beginner/intermediate piano, music theory, and music composition and students ranging from ages 4-college aged. She holds a BM in Music Theory and a MM in Music Composition.
Christina's teaching philosophies rely upon self accountability and goals set by the student (with help from the teacher). She firmly believes that each student's unqiue learning style and goals are crucial in their musical development. All of Christina's students learn theory in addition to their performance skills, resulting in a well rounded musician. Christina's students have been seen in Nebraska All State Band and Jazz Band, Lincoln's Junior Youth Orchestra, Young Lions Band, and others.
Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
My favorite part of teaching is seeing the growth of an individual student and the happiness and self fulfillment a student feels from victories, small and large.
