Musical Moments Piano Studio
About
My Mission Statement: I believe that music is for everyone, no matter the age. Learning music is a personal connection between a musician and what the composer wrote for the musician to play. I believe musicians should be well rounded in every aspect of music. I pick out music that the student will enjoy practicing and while still learning about music and the piano.
I have a passion for music and the piano that I want to share with you!
I love being able to work with students and sharing my passion of music with them! The best thing for me is seeing how my students grow not only in music, but as a person. I respect each one of my students and am blessed to be able to work with amazing students!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lesson is free!
I start by seeing if the student has experience playing the piano or learning about music. If so, I test them on their knowledge and figure out where their music interest lies. If the student is brand new to piano/music, I use the Thompson Piano Book Series to teach them the basics about piano/music before going further.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis on Piano Performance
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

1 hour--$25
How did you get started teaching?

What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students from ages 4-100. Music is for everyone!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I was talking to a student about her school day and she said: "Mrs. Greenwood, I used what you taught me with remembering note names in the treble clef and I used it on my music test at school!" She did well on her test, and it made me proud to know that what i was teaching her was sticking with her and that she was able to use it elsewhere!
