David Craig Music
About
Hello! My name is David and I am a public school teacher with 14 years of service. I have been teaching privately for 20 years. I have taught students as young as 5 and as old as 75! My trick is to make the process fun and enjoyable. I find my students have the most success when they are motivated to WANT to practice. We have a lot of fun and laughs in my studio and make beautiful music.
I love sharing my passion for music with my students. When they see how fun playing the piano can be, it inspires them to put in the work. I use cutting edge technology and apps along with bookwork which makes learning the piano almost like playing a game. The students are engaged and pick it up quickly because they WANT to get better.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If the student is new to the piano, I like to get them playing right away. This is accomplished by playing music games with younger students and showing the older students how to jam out in the very first lesson. If the student has experience, my goal is to assess where they are and where they want to go. Most importantly... HAVE FUN!
