About

My teaching style is child focused. Many methods and modalities are used to shape each child's musical development with the common goal of building skills, independence and literacy for a lifetime of music making regardless of learning style or ability.

Recently, I have expanded my studio to include online lessons and preschool students. Ask me about how much fun learning to play the piano can be!

I love working with kids and I love teaching music and the piano.

When I'm working with your child creating music there is nowhere else I'd rather be.

Our son has special needs and piano was a suggested outlet for him. Audrey has an unending supply of patience and has developed his passion for music. She makes piano fun and is always engaged with him. Our son looks forward to seeing her every week.

    Frequently asked questions

The first time I meet a student my goals are to make them feel welcome and assess what they need to be successful.

I earned my B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1988. I have held music teaching certificates in PA, WV and for the last 24 years a NJ teacher of music certificate. My main concentration in college was the oboe/woodwinds but I also studied piano both as a child and in college. Additionally, I returned to advanced study of the piano in January of 2001 for my own personal enrichment and have thoroughly enjoyed both the journey professional growth it has afforded me as a teacher.
