I’ve been taking piano lessons with Ms. Linda for over nine years, and I can confidently say she is one of the most kind, patient, and supportive teachers I’ve ever had. Under her guidance, both my performance and music theory skills have grown tremendously. I am also able to compose many genres of music, each reflecting different personal experiences through music. Ms. Linda thoughtfully tailors each lesson to my pace and individual needs, which has been especially helpful when balancing school and piano throughout the year.
I started as an in-person student, and when I moved out of state, Ms. Linda was incredibly flexible in transitioning our lessons online. Thanks to her adaptability, my learning has continued seamlessly, and my piano experience is almost the same as it would have been in-person.
Ms. Linda creates a comfortable and encouraging environment that makes learning enjoyable and motivating. I’m truly grateful to be her student.

Under her guidance, both my performance and music theory skills have grown tremendously. Additionally, my composition skills have significantly improved as well. I put together tones to create different moods to tell different narratives that reflect my experiences effectively through music, and that’s thanks to Ms. Linda! She thoughtfully tailors each lesson to my pace and individual needs, which has been especially helpful when balancing school and piano throughout the year.

She understands and respects the needs of adult learners and their particular learning challenges. I have undergone a remarkable change in the two and a half years I have been under her tutelage. I am playing simplified versions of music that I would not have thought possible at this stage of my learning.

    Frequently asked questions

I begin with an interview in which we get to know each other and agree on goals for piano study.  Then we proceed with regular weekly lessons.  All students are required to practice between lessons and do written theory work.

Bachelor of Music degree - major Piano Pedagogy - T.C.U.;  Master of Arts degree - major Creative Arts in Education - N.Y.U.

Lessons are priced based on the length of the lesson and billed at the beginning of each month.

I feel in love with the piano when I was in elementary school.  By the time I was in high school I knew I wanted to be a piano teacher.   Over 40 years later - I'm still happy with that decision.

I have worked with a wide variety of students in terms of age and ability.

I was very proud of my student's performances at the annual student recital

Find someone you enjoy working with and make a commitment to progress over a period of time.

Why do they want to play the piano?  What are their schedules like?  When and where will they practice?  What kinds of music do they like to listen to?  What kind of music do they want to play?
