As a singer and actor myself I have performed all over the United States and abroad. I am well-versed in several styles with a strong base in classical singing. I like to work on finding repertoire that fits your voice and experience, how to tell a compelling story through song, how to make a rich sound that is uniquely yours, and how to keep your voice healthy. I want to help you find YOUR voice and LOVE the sound you make.
As an acting teacher, I help my students with memorization, personalization, and deepening their work. I want to help them find out what they have to say through this text!

Katherine is professional, passionate and fun. I have been in lessons for an extended time and still am seeing noticeable improvements. I sing for a living and have been able to support and find a new tone to my voice. Katherine has a desire to teach individual artistry without sacrificing technique. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I would assess your range and vocal quality, then talk about your goals and what music you are working on. I will also assign you music after this. Then we can work on music and I will give you notes on how to create a more consistent, full, and healthy sound. From there we can talk about performance aspects and effective storytelling
With Acting students, I would start by asking about their previous work and what really spoke to them, I would then assign some material and start working on what this individual has to say, help them get into their body, help them loosen up, help their emotional life come through, work actions and beats. After that, I would do a bit of career coaching as far as do they want to do community theatre or feature films, and then help gear their materials to that market.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years of singing experience and a degree in vocal performance from The University of Texas in San Antonio. I have also performed off-broadway and on an international tour.
I have been acting for 7 years and have done TV shows, movies, and commercials.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I typically charge $50 for a half-hour, $75 for 45 minutes, and $100 for a full hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in college, I wanted to help others find themselves through their work
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and levels, from beginners learning their first solo to professionals trying to even out their sound and build more thoughtful and nuanced performances.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was just a Semi-finalist in the Lotte Lenya Competition and shot a commercial for Viacom and Paramount Plus. This summer I shot my first feature film and was recently asked to be on set again with Red Marble Media filming Evil Lives Here for Investigative discovery.
