Pilates Wellness
About
I like to think of a client as a puzzle. Usually, we are all slightly diabalanced in one way or another. I see my job as a trainer to bring this balance back into the bodies whether it is a weight loss, muscle gain, raising the endurance level or just plain balancing exercises. To feel right is the goal and my job is to help people to find that place.
Seeing the results and ultimately sending the client out on his/her own when they are ready to leave. I give them the tools and share my knowledge. It is very gratifying to see people learning and moving forward.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know a new client is like becoming friends with a total stranger - a certain level of trust needs to be established. They trust me qith their bodies and I assure them that I will not let them down. We have to talk about personal issues, like history of success/failure in their aspirations to become more fit, the physical aspects of it etc. After the initial phase of getting to know each other the real fun begins! The workout plan is getting in place, and full speed ahead!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is dance. Pilates and Yoga practices came as a suppliment of my own workout routine. I tailored all the aaspects of those disciplines to my own body and that gave me the necessary tools for conveying the essence of being fit to those who are still searching for their own path.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes but it depends on many variables. Generally, its $80 per session but seniors and students get a discount. Also, clients who are interested in long term committment to working with me get a reduced rate.
How did you get started teaching?
When i stopped dancing and performing and became a mom, I realized that I have so much experience in the fitness world that i just need to share it! I earned a Personal Trainer Certificate with the ACE and from there found my specialization which is mind/body workout regiment.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. Mostly, people who have been injured and now getting back into their regular routine. The age of my clients ranges from 23 to 78.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just recently realized that my kids, 9 and 5, are not babies anymore!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you connect with your potential trainer on a personal level.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think, students should check on the credebility of their potential trainer. Sometimes its just a gut feeling, but other times they may ask for references etc.
