About
I teach students via Skype in the comfort of your own environment. I am a vocal coach, songwriting coach and an acting coach. I will instruct you on script breakdown, character acting, commercial acting and how to build a character. Vocal coaching includes pitch correction and range; various exercises which are desinged just for you and your voice. If you are a student that auditions, I will teach you technique on how to audition and get the job!
These are a few things I teach that you will hold onto for as long as you sing:
BREATHING
HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR SOUND
TONAL PLACEMENT
VOCAL STAMINA AND FLEXIBILITY
HOW TO SMOOTH OUT THE BLEND BETWEEN CHEST AND HEAD
VOCAL STYLIZING ~ IMPROVISATION AND “RIFFING”
You will hear an improvement after the first lesson! I hope to hear from you soon!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I speak to the student about their goals and what they would like to achieve. Then I get right to work and we do a scene and work on a monologue or commercial copy for acting. Most of my students are auditioning so we prepare for the day of the audition.
For SINGERS I ask you to sing a song of your choice and I access your voice. I teach you some great warm up exercises and we work on a song together. I can fix your problem areas (transitioning from the chest voice to the head voice, for instance) I teach you everything from how to learn a song to how to sell or perform a song to auditioning; holding a microphone; enganging an audience and recording...depending on what your goals are! I will help you achieve them!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been on television, film and stage. I have opened as a singer for bands and have headlined on cruise ships and music festivals across the countr and around the world. I have been singing, dancing and performing since the age of 3. I have won a Telly Award for music and was nominated for an Emmy. You can have all the education in the world on music, singing and acting. Being an active performer/singer and actress speaks volumes for teaching.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Acting is $45 for 45 minutes. I will go to an hour with no charge if you need it with no additional cost.
Singing is $65 for 45 minutes to an hour. I will go to an hour if you need it with no additional cost.
How did you get started teaching?
An agency asked me to start teaching as I was signed as an actor to this particular agency. I also worked with a record producer and he asked me to start coaching some of his clients in the studio and privately.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all types of experience.
I have worked with experienced actors and singers to novices.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently coached a student who was in a very large vocal contest in NY; she is only 15 and placed third in the contest. At the same time another student won 2nd place at the Ms. Houston Contest. These were fun and exciting for both me and my students! Also, I perform all the time at various places and it all creates fond memories and experiences. I want the same for my students and will help them achieve their goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's always great to connect with someone you're studying with. But I feel like the most important thing is to be sure that the teacher has been or is currently a working professional.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I feel it's important for students to get to know what characters they think they would be good for on television and film or in theater. It's always easier to get cast close to who you really are especially in the beginning of your career .
As for singers, it is important to know what style of music you would like to focus on. I try to encourage my students to sing through all kinds of styles! it's fun and it's great to stretch yourself. Then we can focus on what music you would like to sing.
