About

Outside of teaching, Celeste writes and orchestrates for musical theatre in New York City. She is a theatre producer incl. an Off-Broadway musical among other works. She currently has a musical on track for Broadway with Hunter Bird and Macy Schmidt. In 2013, she founded an independent production company and attended Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Dramatic Writing.

Celeste has been teaching privately for eleven years and specializes in vocal training, consulting for aspiring producers & playwrights, audition prep for musical theatre, public speaking, and songwriting.

Her courses are always tailored specifically to each student -- often times students combine both audition prep (monologue, scene work or audition taping) and vocal training / and or consulting.

Note:

A one-on-one consulting course for new theatre producers is quite hard to come by - so, if you are interested in producing a play for the first time here in New York, we HIGHLY recommend this lesson series. Part of our company's mission is to encourage young aspiring producers to make more theatre, so we've made it very inexpensive.

A note from Celeste: My passion for teaching came out of my own experience with several immensely inspirational teachers. I believe that the interpersonal relationships we build in the arts are everything. Every artist needs an excellent understanding of self-care, and with that, a strong support system that is rooted both inside and out.

Celeste was so AMAZING to work with! She was so patient with me and so kind! I was so nervous because it had been a while since I had any singing lessons but she made me feel at ease right away and I actually left my lessons feeling like I had really accomplished something! She gives amazing feedback and is so incredibly helpful! I would highly recommend her!!!

I am currently an NYC based composer / orchestrator for musical theatre.  I collaborate with Broadway industry professionals on the creative and business side. I have been teaching writing and music lessons for about a decade, with students ranging from 6 to 65 years old.

I attended Tisch School of the Arts at NYU for playwriting and screenwriting. I also attended Interlochen Arts Academy, and taught producing in theatre at UNIS (United Nations International School)

Seeing "Into the Woods" at City Center with the amazing all-star cast. Very cathartic  :) Any Sondheim fans out there?
