Rebecca is a wonderful and talented instructor who motivates my daughter to improve her singing skills every lesson. My daughter enjoys her lessons and looks up to her as her best mentor.
She is fiercely (in a kind and sweet way) relentless in helping a voice student hear him/herself make the inevitable mistakes and then gently but firmly works you through them until you are the master of that issue. Her knowledge of how a sound is made and the techniques of how to control it is awesome. I came to her as an 80 year old man who had the fantasy that he would some day sing on a Broadway stage, as a featured character in a major show. Crazy, huh? Delusional you might say. You'd be wrong and Rebecca is the reason it actually happened (and continues to happen) After two years of her guidance and emotional support that built my confidence as a singer and an actor, I auditioned for and won a lead role in a two-person musical in an Off-Broadway Theater at Times Square, to a standing ovation every night. That lead to me being offered, at age 84, without an audition, the role of Grandfather in the musical show Ragtime as a member of a top-NYC cast. Rebecca's advice encouraged me to branch out into acting. By co-incidence, tonight Dec 7th, 2017, I am staring as rapper in MTV's Christmas Special. I have made more than 60 videos and commercials in the past 4 years, some with major performers such as Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi and Nick Cannon. None of this would have happened without the support, training and skills that Rebecca so generously shared as a teacher.
