About
What makes me stand out from other instructors/coaches is the attention to details I provide in my instruction. I pride myself on being very patient and detail oriented in techniques that I teach. I make sure every student goes home with a clear understanding of what they've learned and how to apply it on the mats.
I deeply enjoy the fact that I get to do what I love and that's teach Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

I'm a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu brown belt under Luis Martinez and Israel Gomes of the American Killer Bees Association. I'm an IBJJF World medalist and a multiple IBJJF regional Champion with a solid 13 yrs of training, competing and now coaching and teaching.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in my early blue belt stage in bjj with kids classes. Then I started getting calls from friends about teaching them to get ready for MMA fights. After that I went and got Certified as a personal trainer and continued my own self training to better my understanding of the art to improve my teaching abilities. People then started to approach me seeking to get better at Jiu-jitsu and I began doing private lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kids and adults of all ages. If your willing to learn I'm more than happy to teach you.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Getting my Bronze medal at the World Jiu-jitsu Championships was a great feat. But promoting my students takes the cake for me as a major achievement.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research, ask questions and always reach out personally to those teachers. See if they are the right fit for you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do they want from their training and what will it take to achieve their goals.
