About
I was lucky enough to begin teaching piano while I was still in high school. I continued to teach while studying piano at the college level and completing my bachelor's degree in music therapy. My degree field and subsequent work experience with pre-school children through young adults, both with and without special needs, has allowed me to build the skills needed to address each individual's unique learning style. I've worked as a music educator and music therapist for over 15 years, and continue to enjoy maintaining my skills as a pianist and piano instructor part-time. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have regarding lessons for either you or your child. I look forward to hearing from you!
Music has been a huge influence in my life. I very much enjoy introducing it to and sharing it with others. Whether it's helping others explore a hobby or a new interest, or develop the skills that might lead to something more professional, my goal is always to make it an enjoyable and productive experience.
