About
Besides being a piano instructor and am also a professional piano player. As a professional pianist I am introduced to new music every week in all styles. This keeps me up to date with what ever music my students wish to learn.
My goal is to bring out the musician in each student. Everyone is musical. I work with them on being musical, singing and understanding the piece they are working on so that at every lesson they pick up something new.
I love seeing my students play and perform pieces they never dreamed that they could attempt a few months earlier. I want to give them the give to be able to have music be a part of their life's journey.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I need to get the student to become comfortable with me and be able to play the piano without be self conscious, so that they know I am there to help and inspire them and not judge them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA from Rugters College, now Mason Gross.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based upon $60 per hour. Rates vary based upon in home or in studio lessons and monthly prepayment.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching after leaving the New York workforce 7 years ago. Here is a short video of my teaching style.

What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and abilities. My younges student was not even 4 years old when she started. I also teach adults and work with many young men and women ages 10-18. I offer a special program to adult students who either want to relearn the piano or are first timers looking the play popular songs.
