About this pro

I am a master Piano instructor who works with each student individually. I teach in the comfort of you home, and work with each student with a patient and systematic pedagogy to achieve progress. Unlike many teachers, I do not use a pre concieved methodology but carefully plan and structure each course of study based on a number of unique charcteristics and goals.

I love music and working with students who are aspiring to be music makers is the most fulfilling part of my music career. It is so enriching to see students progress over time.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I introduce myself as well as ask introductory questions in order to assess the students experience with music, what they are most interested in, and begin to develop an understanding of how they learn. We may do a black key improvisation or some other form of in the moment music making. After that I begin to work with the student's approach to the instrument and present some new material.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I posess three degrees in Music. I attended and graduated from Westminster Choir College, Temple University and Boston University. I am a certified Pro Tools Instructor, Sound Trap Expert, and a member of the Association for Popular Music Education, the NEA, the NJNEA, and BCCFA. I have had 25 years pedagogical experience with both individual and group instruction. I am a professional multi keyboard player and audio engineer.
