Hello, I'm Laura & welcome to the Monmouth & Middlesex county Music Academy Page. We have been teaching music lovers of all ages for over 20 years now! I have A Masters Degree from Princeton University in Music Composition, musicology & Theory. I love sharing my love for music with everyone! Making music fun & easy for all ages is what we do. Music is such a great outlet for everyone's creative & emotional energy. All while stimulating your mind, and building new neural connections in the brain that even improves memory! Laura & her very talented staff are AMAZING! Not only are the lessons fun, but my kids absolutely adore practicing due to the academys practice help which taught them how to practice and have fun while doing it. (That alone was well worth the cost of lessons!) Practicing is one thing my kids hated doing before when they had different teachers. I was so impressed by their curriculum that even I started taking music lessons! Now my whole family can jam together like the Jackson 5 & we have so much fun.
