With over 20 years of teaching experience and a lifetime of performing, I specialize in teaching vocal technique & getting children into good habits from an early age so that they can flourish and build self-confidence!
-I can help you with acting monologues and audition prep too!-
I love my students. Each student is an individual with a unique voice and different needs. I am grateful for the honor of helping to shape them, not only vocally but personally as well. Seeing my students thrive and grow brings me so much pride!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students so that I can tailor each lesson to them individually. I usually start out with pitch analysis and breath technique to establish good foundational habits. I also make sure that my students always get to actually sing a song! A lot of teachers utilize the time with their students to teach warmups, but I believe in learning through application.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from AMDA (The American Music & Dramatic Academy) in New York City.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes! My rates are simple:
$45/half hour
$85/hour
Many of my students choose to purchase multiple classes at once. I'm more than happy to discuss these logistics with you!
How did you get started teaching?
I started my career as a performer. After doing lots of Musical Theatre, film, and t.v, I continued as a performer as the lead singer in a band for 26 years. I also worked in talent management until I decided to manage and teach my own kids, who are now professionals in the music industy today. When my girls' careers took off is when I decided that if I could do that for them, why not others!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages of students from 4 years old to adult. I have taught children and adults who are shower singers to seansoned pros. I address everyone and as an individual and cater to their goal.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Nothing thrills me more that having my students' dreams come to fruition. Recently, I have seen my students spread their wings and soar into leading roles, get into the college of their choice or conquer a song and accompany themselves on the piano! It is quite a thrill to see my student’s dreams come true.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that believes in you and sees you as the whole picture - not just your voice & technique. Singing is a fabulous way to express yourself. I'm here to support that!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think of your goals not only musically but personally. These two go hand in hand and confidence plays a major part in conquering the true YOU!
Keep finding questions that you need the answers to, to keep growing and to keep your fire burning!
