I absolutely recommend Shak as a drumming coach. He is extremely friendly and personable. I have played drums in the past but overtime had forgotten certain things and wanted to brush up on them. He was able to pinpoint what I needed to work on and as well as what my strengths were. Overall a great lesson and would definitely book another in the very near future.

SD Lewis is the best voice teacher I’ve ever worked with. She takes the time to truly understand you as a vocalist and tailors exercises to help you develop your unique sound. I graduated from the City College of New York in 2013 with the highest honors for Classical Piano, and am a professional musician: out of all of my teachers, Dr. Beliavsky (whom I studied theory with) is still, to this day, one of the most unforgettable ones who have left an indelible mark on me. His level of expertise in theory, analysis, piano and composition among others is awe inspiring and thought provoking in a truly mind-altering way. He has an uncanny ability to take very complex ideas and making them clear. I am honored to say that I still consult with him to this day about multiple issues, and his level of genuine care, alongside with his phenomenal expertise, makes him, for me, a one of a kind teacher.

As a theory teacher, Patrick Kreeger possesses the exact teaching style the subject requires. Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”
