Ive never met an instructor of any discipline so enthusiastic about your improvement. Two things are different about my experience with Luisa. First, she realizes everyone is different. She knows so many ways of explaining the same thing and will try different approaches until the light bulb turns on in your head. Its unbelievably rewarding when it does. Secondly, she always has your goals in mind and structures lessons to suite your individual needs. She is truly a master teacher as shown by her clientele.

She is an excellent teacher with great methods for teaching. She can teach anyone from a young kid to an adult. I love her methods, her patience, and dedication. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start from the most basic knowledge. Introducing the instrument posture, score reading from the most basic notes applied to the main major scales, using an easy method to read music. Helping the student to understand every staff in the music sheet. Also l like to establish a good relationship between my students and l, that make our time together more confident and enjoyable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's degree in performance, classical guitar.
Also l have vast experience teaching piano, voice, music theory , harmony, counterpoint and Latin American Music.

I got started teaching looking up to my teachers, they were very inspirational to me.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A student should look for a teacher that have long experience teaching. That kind of teacher offer many experience and solutions from any technical or musical issue in the learning process to the students, also she/he has to be an inspirational source of knowledge and a great example of a good performer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is the teacher a professional musician?
How long the teacher have been teaching?
Have the teacher an experienced training to resolve every issue that come up when students are learning a new lesson?
