I am a fully certified yoga instructor(RYT-500, ERYT-200) in Henderson, Nevada since last 10 years. I originally started practicing yoga because of my lower back problems and post-partum depression. I realized how yoga helped me physically, emotionally and mentally. I joined teachers training to get a deeper knowledge of yoga and now I am specialized in Theraputic yoga, Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, Guided Meditation, Hatha Yoga and Prenatal/ postnatal Yoga .

I love to help people who can't practice regular yoga because of injuries, lack of flexibility, contradictions and other physical and emotional imbalance. I am working with seniors, people recovering from surgery and beginners. I help people to find their confidence back physical and mentally through yoga and meditation. My students are practicing with me on zoom and moxie during quarantine even when I was not able to teach them in person.

    Nav is the best teacher I’ve had on my 23 year yoga journey. She’s very knowledgeable. She makes her lessons interesting and very challenging. You will work hard, but you’ll feel amazing after class.

    Three years ago I was looking for a yoga practice that would help me with my inflammation, stiffens and joint pain. I found a gentle yoga class at a yoga studio that was targeted towards people with health issues and needing help after surgeries. I decided to give the class a try. Well I was blessed to have Nav as my instructor for the class. Today I am writing this review to share that Nav’s yoga classes have helped me tremiduoiusly with my Rheumtoid Arthritis. I am back to walking my dog daily, Hiking and wakeing up with less pain and stiffness.
    Lets fast-forward to 2020. Anyone reading this review can understand what COVIN 19 brought into our lives. Nav was gracious enough to start doing her yoga practices on Zoom. This reminded me that not only is the yoga practice benefical to me with my physical wellbeing it was also beneficial to my mental wellbeing.

    I’m a now 72 year old seasonal Henderson resident. I started taking Nav’s gentle yoga classes at the Multi-center 5 years ago. I always missed them when I went back to New York. Thanks to covid ( the only thing I’m thankful for) is Nav! First she put her chair and gentle yoga exercises on YouTube. Then in May she started her zoom classes. I have now progressed to Flow Yoga classes. They are total body workouts. I can feel the strength I’m building in my body and my balance has also greatly improved. She’s a great teacher. Also leads great Yin mediation stretching. Thanks, Nav for becoming part of my life.

    I’ve been practicing with Nav for more than five years. That is obvious indication of my appreciation for her skill and knowledge as a teacher of yoga. At one time or another I have taken all the types of classes Nav teaches. Rest assured that in every class she provides complete and clear instructions for the poses with options for modifications to support any health issues. At the end of her classes I feel renewed and relaxed. I recommend her highly. Her Zoom classes have been a saving grace in the midst of this pandemic.

    I have been taking Zoom Yoga from Nav for the past 3 months. A friend of mine casually mentioned Nav’s Yoga on Zoom. I had been doing Pilates at a studio for 3 years. Due to Covid restrictions I am not able to go to the studio. I was at a loss and could not find suitable exercise online or UTube.
    After my friend shared Nav’s information with me I messaged her. She responded quickly and provided me information about the Zoom Yoga she offers and invited me to try a class. I tried one class and knew I found what I was looking for! Nav’s classes provide a full body workout that is both challenging and energizing. She offers a combination of Yoga, Pilates, cardio and weights. She offers modifications as well as challenges. Nav always explains exactly how to do the pose and where you should feel it. She is knowledgeable and tells you how poses improve muscles and internal organs such as colon and digestion. Knowing what muscles you are working ensures proper pose posture and prevents injury. Every class is different and enjoyable. I always feel well worked out and have a much more positive outlook. Internally I feel much less annoyed and impatient. Meditation has helped be refocus and release that which I can’t control. Like everyone, Covid-19 has turned my life upside down. Thanks to Nav’s Yoga being on Zoom, I am finding a balance in my life. We all are learning what our “ new normal” is. I am grateful my new normal includes Nav’s Yoga on Zoom!! Thanks Nav for giving such a fantastic Yoga plus so much more workout 7 days a week.

    I have worked with different age groups. In my Yoga flow I have students 30-75 years old. In my most popular Gentle yoga +Pilates I have 30-80 years old. I have 60-95 years old in chair yoga. Also I have kids yoga for 5-13 years old. 

    I love to do different workouts. Due to COVID I was not able to join any new workouts outside my home. I love you tube videos of different instructors. I always want to learn Indian dance "Bangra". And during quarantine I practiced through watching these videos. It is so fun to try new things. I also created my own Nav's Yoga you tube channel .     I will love to help you if you are a beginner with proper alignment of your body to prevent injuries during practice. If you are looking for a calming and relaxing practice join me for Yin/ meditation . And if you are looking for a yoga practice along with Pilates to stretch and strengthen your body my Gentle yoga class is perfect for you. If you have knee issues and you can't do yoga on mat you are safe with my chair yoga. Hatha yoga is traditional yoga practice with full body workout.
