About
Health, wellness and creativity have been a focus of my life since I can remember. I've always been interested in the physical aspect of it and began a regular yoga practice for myself about 7 years ago. In doing so, finding my rhythm and experiencing how it has changed my life, I realized that I wanted to be able to guide others on their own personal journey.
I adore the communication and connections needed in order to develop and lead a fulfilling and impactful sequence with my clients. I love being able to personalize this as much as possible in order to get to what each and every one of our bodies and minds truly need through our practice. I look forward to and truly appreciate the opportunity to work with you on your journey.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, after initially contacting a new student I like to meet with them, if possible, in order to learn more about them, their experience level and their goals.
This allows us to move forward with scheduling and provides me with an opportunity to incorporate their individual needs into our sessions together. After this initial conversation we can begin sessions at their earliest convenience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my instructor certification in both yoga and aerial yoga as well as educational history in health and wellness.
Additionally, I worked as a teacher and have hosted my own sessions and meetups in parks for years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, my individual sessions are $35/hr. This can be adjusted based on groups and setting depending on the clients' needs.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching with friends at parks, it was a low stress environment that allowed me to gain experience and I also taught children yoga at a preschool for a short time.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students. In a professional setting, I have primarily worked with young children but outside of that I have worked with different age groups and experience levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My friends and I have been doing weekly energy exchange/healing circle type events. This past week, one of our friends, who happens to be working on her Reiki certifications was providing those services in order to help us, as well as get the experience she needed. We all took turns and when we were waiting we painted. It was so calming and was truly special to be a part of.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest trusting your gut and communicating. Usually our instincts are right and even if it doesn't seem that relevant when it comes to something like choosing a yoga instructor, I believe that it is. In doing so, you can find someone who you can truly connect with and that will enhance your experience even more.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I believe that one of the most important questions is simply what you are expecting to get out of the experience. Even if you don't have a solid understanding, beginning to think about that will help you to shape your experience in the most beneficial way for yourself.
