A unique approach to self defense and the martial arts. I am able to teach anyone regardless of their situation. I have 40 years of experience in the Martial Arts and self defense over 18 of those years teaching. I am confident that I can help you obtain your goals what ever they may be.
Kempo is a style of Martial Arts that has its roots in all of Asia. This particular style came together in post WWII Hawaii. As people were returning from the war most of them had studied the MartialArts. Some of them came to gether they started taking what they knew worked and put it together in a system that incorporated Karate, Kung Fu, and Jujitsu as well as Indonesia and Filipino styles. To crate the first modern mixed Martial Art.
I love the Martial Arts. And in my early years of training I realize through some great instructors that the Martial Arts isn’t just about fighting and self defense. It’s primarily self development. Learning self control, focus and goal setting is fundamental for success in life. To master the Martial Arts is to master ones self. And that can take you anywhere in life weather it be personal or professional. Seeing people grow is it own reward.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first find out the students goals and then I developed a program that meets those needs. Honestly the traditional approach works best in most if not all cases but there is always way to modify the training for the individual. I make sure the students is developing skills in a step-by-step step process. The fundamental skills will always be a process of growth that will enhanced every other aspect of a students training and life.
