About
I'm Valeri Glava Coming all away from Chisinau Moldova (Former USSR Republic). I went trough the Russian Musical System of Education, starting at age of 8 at a School of Music for musically gifted children, then followed the College of Music and the Conservatory, total 16 years of intense passionate study in Solo Violin Performance, Conducting and Music Education. I had the greatest experience to travel all over the world and performed in different countries, from the Kremlin in Moscow Russia to the UN in New York City. In 2003-2007 Performed in Dallas Fort Worth metroplex area in the Symphony Orchestras as a Soloist and 2nd Principal.
For beginning students it's very important to develop their correct habits of posture, how to hold the violin, hands position, correct breathing. I moved them step by step, once the student has progressed with his technical skills, I will introduce him to the Solo repertoire according to his abilities, for his first recital concert. For the adult students, I think it's a good plan to ask them their goals, their thoughts and how much they think they will be able to practice. According to those factors I will guide my instruction, to bring them up to their higher level.
As a violin teacher my goal is to see how much each of my students has progressed from the beginning. I have to approach individually to each of them according to their characters, temperament, abilities to learn in order to choose the program for them. I always inspire my students to progress in the world of music, encourage them to learn and practice more. It's a scientific fact, that all the students who practice and play music, they have a better scores in their studies at the school.
