Michael J Rogers, Piano Teacher
About
I am a conservatory trained concert pianist, and love to share my knowledge and experience with my students. I have my Master of Music degree in Piano from State University of New York. Besides classical music, I have wide experience that encompasses almost every genre of music.
Passing along the musical experience to my students has been my vocation in life, and one that I am very proud of. I teach each student as an individual- tailoring the lessons to their specific needs and musical interests.
My classical students develope a high level of self discipline, and receive rigorous training in technique and music theory. My students regularly receive "Outstanding" NYSSMA, perform in competitions, attend music camps and are heard in many other venues for young performers.
