Singing Lessons With Mariana Barcellos

Helping people to find their own voices is my favorite work I have done so far. The voice is the instrument we are born with!

I started to teach singing in 2013 in my home town, Rio de Janeiro.

Besides teaching, I also perform my original songs and Brazilian music styles with my band in Upstate NY.

I teach popular songs, rock/pop jazz, earthy songs connected to nature and Brazilian music styles. I also bring my theater and yoga background to my singing lessons to support with breathing, posture, interpretation and stage presence. In each lesson will you have: Vocal Warm Ups, Simple Body Movements & Breathing Exercises and 1 or 2 songs for you to Sing. We will build your repertoire finding the right songs and right keys for your voice.
