Barak Ryu Ninjutsu
About
Ninjutsu (忍術) or Shinobijutsu. Meaning The art of stealing in. Taijutsu is the art of using your body skillfully in warfare.
Budo Taijutsu is a practical natural real fighting and philosophical martial arts system deeply founded in the mystic warriors of feudal Japan, both the Samurai and the Ninja. In my school we practice techniques, wazas, principles and philosophies of 3 different Japanese martial art schools, known as Ryu in Japanese. We train both unarmed and armed (both ancient, exotic and modern). We train in true proven ancient budo methods and we train in modern applications that have been used by Special Forces, FBI, DEA and police forces worldwide. My name is Sensei Barak I have over 30 years experience and over 20 years experience as a teacher of the Martial way. Lessons will consist of cardio training, body balance, muscle strengthening through dynamic and static conditioning and flexibility training. Students will learn standing postures for combative situations with falling, leaping and evading skills. The class will also cover various hand striking and kicking techniques, close quarters combat fighting methods and weapons training(using rubber and wooden facsimiles). Students will receive training in Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu, Gyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu, Koto Ryu Koppojutsu and other Ryu's as well. This system has a complete syllabus, you will receive certification for each grade you accomplish. I am a private instructor I have no dojo we train at the park in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn or my place or your place if you have the space.
Disclaimer- This is high intensity training, this is not your grandpas workout. I'm keeping it old school. This is for serious beginner students and martial artist alike.
Thanks

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Barak Ryu Budo ninjutsu teaches combat oriented ninjutsu as a way of life. The combat system that I teach comprise of 3 ryuha, or schools which are collectively referred to as Budo Taijutsu. My training is conducted in a manner in which there are predefined "attackers" (uke) and "defenders" (tori) similar to drills in judo (gokyo) or traditional Japanese martial arts. However, my system differs from many traditional martial arts in that the training progresses through the following stages.
Predefined sets of movements (kata) and physical conditioning
Variations to the fixed drills (henka), responding to changes in the attacker's movements or situation
Free form training (randori) consisting mostly of spur-of-the-moment, dynamic techniques during which the defender hits, locks, chokes or throws the attacker in a controlled and safe manner
More advanced training consists of controlling the attacker's mind using various techniques such as pain compliance and deception
Training is done in a manner that entails little risk of permanent injury.
Barak Ryu Budo Ninjutsu does not adhere to any official guideline or set of rules to limit actions or techniques used during training. The approach used in my teachings includes gaining compliance through pain and utilising potentially damaging techniques in order to survive dangerous situations rather than focusing on winning a competition or evenly matched duel. My teachings largely focuses on “taijutsu” (body movement / skills) ; happo biken jutsu (various modern and traditional weapons) and ninjutsu (ninpo tactics and strategies).
