    Frequently asked questions

    1) Get to know the student, and assess what they would like to get out of my class.

    2) Assess skill level and personalize lesson plans to fit the student.

    3) Push my students to rise to the industry standards while providing them with a fun and safe environment to work on their skills.

Kodi Lynn is a down to earth Nebraska native.  She moved to the city for a conservatory program at the New York Film Academy. During her time studying musical theater, she sang at 54 below in Ewalt and Walker’s “The Making of Madeleine Moore”, belted in The musical “Chess”, and worked with Bobby Cronin on a musical adaption of the claymation film “Mary and Max.” She wrote a script called “Could you Dance in my Shoes” that was directed by Deidre Goodwin. After graduating, she has been the assistant director for two readings at NYFA and a short film entitled “Je l’aime a Mourir.” Recently, she worked costumes on a production of “Urinetown” and a movie she performed in entitled “Seeking Alice” just won best musical at the NOVA Film Festival. Kodi is absolutely ecstatic about her show Chrysalis moving forward, and she hopes to be the first of many.

All lessons are $75 for an hour and $125 for 90 min.

I began coaching after a year of teaching preschool and coaching Tweens musical theater. I love seeing the progress the students made so I continued teaching as I persue my own career.

I have worked with students ranging from birth to 25 from all walks of life and backgrounds.

I have been really into the works of Terra Warman of Terra and the Dactyls. She is a close personal friend of mine and her music is very relevant.

Who the teacher knows and their experience in this industry is more valuable than the years spent studying in a school setting.
