Kristina Terwilliger Voice Studio
About
I am a NYC based Soprano and teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years and just finished as an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at NYU. My teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering healthy and sustainable singing, emphasizing the importance of fundamental technique as a gateway to success in any genre. While I am an opera singer by profession, my teaching spans across a wide spectrum, encompassing musical theatre, jazz, pop, rock, and contemporary styles. With a background in physics, a master's degree in vocal performance and pedagogy, and personal experience as a performer, I bring a well-rounded understanding of the industry to my lessons. My focus is on unveiling each student's unique sound efficiently by tailoring lessons to each student's specific needs. This can only be done in a non-judgmental space therefore creating a studio space that allows students the freedom to explore and connect with their voices is my top priority.
