Hiya - glad to connect!
I am a Bulgarian-born singer. After graduating with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston, I have been Brooklyn-based for 18 years now :)
I travel around the world performing Bulgarian folk music, and my own songs - with my Bulgarian Voices Trio, the NY Bulgarian Women's Choir Yasna Voices, and my band Balkan Tales, among other collaborations.
I love sharing time and knowledge with fellow singers.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We get together for a "get to know you" session - 45min-1hour - where we sing for each other and determine what are your interests, if we are a good fit for each other, and what will be our action plan.
I will devise special exersizes, geared to help you address your particular challeneges, needs, and interests. It is a fun and rewarding process!
I generally recommend we agree on a series of classes - 5 or 10. Singing is a mussle, that takes regular work to achieve results. So we honor our desire to devolop our voice and style by commiting to the process. This way I can also make the classes more afordable to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelors Degree Magna Cum Laude in Voice Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, one of the top contemporary music colleges in the world.
I have extensie knowledge in vocal technique, styles, ear training for singers, songwriting and composition, as well as defining one's individual voice.
I have taught private and group voice classes and vocal workshops for over 15 years to a wide variety of students - from complete beginners to skillled professionals.
