What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by asking my students what their goals are. Then I get an idea of their vocal range and style through warmups and vocal excercises. Through various vocal activities i gather a sense of my students aural skills and musical knowledge. This is an ongoing process but I can select a list of songs to try singing to by the third half hour session.
