Dr. Newbrough carries over the classical piano tradition that traces back to Ludwig Van Beethoven. A pupil of Leon Fleisher, he is, in fact, the fifth generation of piano pedagogues, a concertizing pianist, a Steinway Artist, an American Prize winner, and a Grammy nomination-eligible CD/DVD recording performer. This is an opportunity to study with a pupil of Leon Fleisher (who studied with Arthur Schnabel) and Haggai Niv (who studied with Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Emil Gilels, and Vladimir Horowitz).

Dr Newbrough has a friendly teaching style with children. He really relates to them. Besides teaching just notes on the piano he teaches style and technique.

My son (6 y/o) asked to take piano lessons for about 2 years. We have found the perfect fit with Dr. William. First, the studio is gorgeous and spacious. Parents are able to sit in and listen to the lessons (it really helps once he is home and practicing). Dr. William is calm, cool, and kind. He works hard to make sure hes enjoying the process and at the same time learning a lot. I cant recommend his studio enough!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

After we receive a request, we respond as promptly as we can, typically within the same day. We will contact you and ask you to fill out a new student registration form and, after that, will invite you to a free trial lesson. You can try us more, if you like, during your first month at a discounted rate.

Dr. Newbrough holds a post-doctorate degree and artist diploma from Peabody Conservatory of Music where he studied under a world-renowned pianist and teacher Leon Fleisher.
