Viavattine Music Studio
About
The Viavattine Music Studio is an aesthetically beautiful, welcoming, friendly space where people of all ages and musical backgrounds come to develop their passions for music making.
We love meeting new music friends just as much as we love spending lesson time with folks we have coached for many years. We love seeing people’s faces light up when they play their instruments. We love hearing students say this is the best part of their week!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we spend a little time to get acquainted. I ask questions about the new student’s musical tastes and preferences. I ask them what their music goals are. We chat about their music background and what brought them to our studio. New students are given the chance to ask me any questions they may have and then we jump right in!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. I am also a permanently certified k-12 Instrumental music teacher. I have held music director positions in many large churches. I have been teaching for 20 years. My husband Mark is also a music teacher and we are the proud parents of 5 very musical children.
