I've had the privilege of having a 45+ student/week studio over the last 39 years. I have a double degree from Mansfield University in Piano Performance and Music Education.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I determine their own, unique learning style. This enables me to funnel their learning through the natural path that my student is most comfortable with. For example, if someone is more inclined to process information by ear, I use their strength in that area, so to not frustrate their learning.
