    Frequently asked questions

My methodology includes a customized lesson plan tailored to your musical goals, whether you’re learning online or in-person. Educational content is available for download through my online classroom, and assignments are provided based on your progress in the form of video and/or audio files when necessary. For students who reach a certain level, I also offer virtual concerts and recitals. In-person lessons are available as well, providing a hands-on approach to complement your learning experience.
I studied Music and Theater, earning a BA degree and a teaching license in performing arts. I'm continuing to refine my skills by taking classes at the Berklee College of Music>
Prices start at $35 per lesson. However, if you have a friend you'd like to study with, and you're both within the same age group and ability level (especially for children), prices start at $20 per learner.
I’ve always had a passion for teaching. From an early age, I began covering classes for other teachers and realized that teaching was something I wanted to pursue as a career.
I work with total beginners of all ages, from 3 years old to over 70. Age doesn’t matter—if you’re a beginner and eager to learn, we're here to help.
One of my fondest memories is touring China as a lead singer with the State of the Arts Thai City Theater. It was an incredible experience performing across the country. I also cherish my time as a lead production singer for Carnival Cruise Line, where I sailed the Western and Eastern Caribbean islands, performing Las Vegas-style production shows.
My advice would be to follow your heart and seek a teacher with whom you feel a genuine connection. Working creatively can be challenging, so it’s crucial to find someone who truly understands your artistic needs and goals.
Before talking to teachers, students should consider their artistic goals and what they want to achieve. Once you’ve clarified your objectives, make a list of questions to ask prospective teachers to ensure they align with your needs. That’s why at the Contemporary School of the Arts, we offer a free 15-minute musical insight meeting—to help you find the right fit and get a sense of how we can support your goals.
