About
Due to being younger than most piano teachers, I am able to connect easier with younger students and help them bring out their untapped potential. I also make my lesson sessions fun and enjoyable in order to keep my students eager to learn more about music.
•Reliving the experience of learning the piano as a beginner.
•Helping students discover the talent they may have in the music field.
•Challenging and pushing my students to improve.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First thing I do is get to know my student a little and their interests in music such as style preferences and such. I then do fun activities such as playing one of their favorite songs with them in order to amplify their eagerness in learning the piano.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been classically trained at a very young age for years; I then took lessons at a music school while completing high school. I studied music for 2 years at LIU Post where I also played in the jazz ensemble, many recitals and live performances. There, I had the opportunity to meet some wolrd known musicians such as Esperanza Spalding and Cory Henry. Last sememster I was the accompanist for my school's ballet class and also play the piano for my local church. Besides these experiences I have also received multiple awards and diplomas related to music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $39 for a 45mns session
How did you get started teaching?
It all started with a very good friend of mine showing interest in playing the piano. After showing him a few stuff on the piano once in a while, I started to contemplate the idea of sharing my love for music through teaching. And here I am today teaching the piano.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of every age groups, but mostly young ones.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently started learning to play the guitar bass on my own and the experience so far has been a bit hard but definitely worth it. I spent countless hours every week having a blast learning songs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't make the mistake of thinking that a pianist will be able to teach music as well as they play and the other way around. One important tip is to choose a teacher who can connect with his/her students and make the learning process fun for them. A teacher(even the Best) who's boring will slowly but surely extinguish the keenness someone has for learning.
