About
I love teaching students about the joys of music and violin playing. I teach both classical and fiddle music to beginners and beyond.
I am a certified Suzuki teacher through the Suzuki Association of Americas. I hold a bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and will be graduating with my Masters in Violin Performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in May 2021.
I love teaching people of all ages about the joys of music making and the violin. It is amazing to see a student make a sound on the violin that they never thought they could -- watching a students musical journey through learning the violin is something I love to be a part of.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically start off teaching a new student the basics of the violin and how it works. We learn about the parts of the violin and how to hold the instrument. The fundamentals are learned before music making begins. I will ask what music the student wants to learn and cater the lessons and material provided to the different kinds of music they want to explore.
