About
I can get the smallest child to play The Mississippi Hot Dog rhythm, put fingers down with the left hand, and very soon the child is able to play little tunes with the piano accompaniment. It's Amazing!
🌟One of the first students I got from Lessons.com just won a full scholarship to go to a one of the best music schools in the country. She is only 8 years old! Her acceptance letter in in my photos!
Congratulations Brooklyn 👏

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach the Suzuki method. The first lesson is standing with good posture, holding the violin correctly, and holding the bow.
Beginners start playing songs quickly. At first we memorize the songs so we can concentrate on posture and form.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started playing the violin at age five. All of my siblings studied the Suzuki method. My children were Suzuki students. I have been teaching this method for over 30 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20/lesson as long as the student is in book 1 or 2. The price goes up to $30/lesson when the student enters book 3, and $40 a lesson for book 5 and above.
Because of the fee involved in responding to new students, I will only respond if I am the only teacher contacted.
