Vocal Lessons By Daniel
About
Technique is very important to me, from breathing to performance etiquette, the technique is always the focus! I feel I am different from other vocal coaches because I put great emphasis on working with the students on songs that they choose and music they enjoy. Overall, I want the experience to be informative and fun above all else!
I most enjoy watching someone's face when they do something they thought they could never do! My true joy comes from helping students reach their full potential! I also just love music for so many reasons!!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know me and see the studio space. At first I like to focus on how to take care of your voice and warm up techniques! From there, we will do a wide range of singing exercises focusing on breathing and pitch control!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I first learned to sing in church at a very young age. Through out my life I have had several instructors and vocal teachers covering a wide range of genres from classical to R&B and soul. I have been in different choirs, jazz groups, barbershop quartets, and Acapella Groups. I attended was fortunate enough to attend Berklee College of Music and studied Vocal Performance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $50 for an hour lesson
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching when I realized that a lot of the "teachers" in the area didn't have the love and knowledge to truly help students grow. I just want to share the things I have been blessed enough to learn along the way.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all skill levels. Where ever you are at in your singing is where we will start. I've had students that are brand new and students that have been doing it their whole life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Working in the studio everyday! I am blessed to have a job I love so much!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure whoever you choose has your best interest at heart. Music has to be more than just lessons and notes on a page. If you love it, then the teacher did his or her job in my opinion.
