About this pro

We are Oregon's ONLY Civilian Hand to Hand Combat Course! We have no rules because “there are no rules in the streets!”  We teach you the reality of fighting and the facts of street assaults.  Be it our Basic S.T.R.E.E.T. Combat Defense course or one of our progress courses, you’ll constantly obtain the same quality of learning each and every program that we provide.
This is NOT martial arts but Martial Science!

Control FEAR: Anxiety Control is probably the most under-appreciated skill one can have in a self-defense scenario.

Body Weakness Protection: There are parts of the body that are not weak and other parts that are. It's important to protect or the weak points in the human body. Injury to these weak points can cause anxiety, pain, impairment, and death.

EFFECTIVE Strikes: What this means is that you, will NOT suffer any injuries while training. (The guy is the suit, "Becoming Hurt"....is his JOB!)

I had one complimentary class. It was very well taught and laid out, and I still remember some of what I learned, so definitely good teaching! I love out of the area now, but a full training would be awesome to obtain!

Steve knows his stuff He teaches skills a person can use to protect oneself in the event an attacker approaches. Practicing the skills and maintaining the knowledge is an important step toward self-preservation and protection of family

How did you get started teaching?

Master Chief Smith was introduced to Military Combatives by his grandmother, who learn these methods from soldiers and sailors she met that would teach the employees, while working in the Chicago Steel Mills in the course of WWII.

While he had earned black belts in many traditional martial arts it has not had the affect that Hand to Hand fight did.

What types of students have you worked with?

We work with EVERYONE, regardless of AGE! SEX or SIZE!  The youngest that we can train is really at the young age of 4 years years old and the Most seniors that we have offically trained was 87 years young.

When we train people, we use the most simplistic techniques that we can create for situations that you feel you fear and/or may face ond day and want to be prepaired.
