About
I have been teaching singing for 17 years and performing since the 1980s! My specialty is those who have stage fright or are in need of confidence-building. All levels of ability are welcome as well as all styles of music! Classical and Broadway are two of my favorite styles to teach although I can belt out a Demi Lovato too.
Teaching is a calling and I am so happy to be able to change peoples' lives for the better. There is nothing greater than when a student has a breakthrough and gets a new concept or level of ability!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we assess where you are in terms of technique i.e breath control and throat relaxation. Once we are sure the instrument is flowing correctly, we move on to other issues like ear training or stamina or range increase. We have some fun along the way by pretending to be drill sergeants and opera ladies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Marylhurst University and I have been a stage performer for over 30 years.
