After performing professionally with Portland Opera I’ve been teaching classical and music theater vocal instruction in the Damascus, Happy Valley and Gresham areas for over 30 years. As a NATS member my students have advanced to regional and national competitions. My singers are consistently winners in OSAA Vocal and Theatrical competitions as well as participants in youth theater productions. I offer a free get acquainted time before you and I commit to working together.

Debra's approach to teaching is unique, combining rigor and fun, and is designed to motivate and inspire students to play expressively. She brings a wealth of knowledge with a Doctorate in Musical Arts in Voice and is affiliated with the Oregon Music Teachers Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
