Lisa has a great teaching method mastery. She is patient and insightful. Shes a great teacher!

Lessons were more than surface work of intonation, rhythm, dynamics etc, but went into great detail and covered every aspect of playing the instrument. The physical requirements, the mental strength, and the awareness of the music are all concepts that are taught in her lessons.

I got to play duets with teacher Lisa and learn new songs with her.

She always tells me any faults in my technique that is making my sound or intonation not be the best it can and whenever I do whatever she tells me, my sound always becomes a lot better.

I like that my lessons focus on work to improve my sound and intonation. It is enjoyable to be treated like a musician and learn the nuances of playing the viola. I love playing duets with my teacher for fun but also to keep me honest feeling the beat. My lessons come with a lot of positive feedback and suggestions for more effective ways to practice

Teacher Lisa has been excellent all along. Were very lucky to be working with such a gifted teacher.
