No matter the style, singing should be a source of joyous self-expression! Whether you are interested in classical voice, pop, or musical theater, the tried-and-true methods of classical training will give your voice incredible flexibility and power. Proper vocal technique allows you to utilize your voice in ways you never thought possible. In my studio, you will learn about breath support and registration, how to sing a beautiful legato line, and most importantly you will gain a sense of freedom and comfort as a vocalist and a performer. After all, singing should be fun, not scary!

I aim to help new students feel confident and excited about singing through a fun, relaxing atmosphere. During our first few lessons, we will mainly focus on creating a clear, supported sound by working on breath management, posture, and relaxation of the vocal tract.
I hold a BA in Music from Linfield University, with an emphasis on vocal performance, and a Master's of Music from Portland State University. At Portland State, I also taught a course for beginning voice students for two years.
