About

I have been teaching music for over 15 years. My studio is currently located at my home in Orlando, Florida.

I believe that to be accomplished in a given field, you need to understand all aspects of that field. I provide my students with the unique opportunity of well-rounded music education including music history, theory, technique, composition, etc.

In order to help my students grow, I am furthering my education. I went to Susquehanna University for Violin Performance and went to Berklee College of Music for Music Education and Musicology/Ethnomusicology. I have performed in many aspects of the music industry. I have done solo work, chamber, orchestral, and other forms of performance and orchestral settings, such as The Young People’s Philharmonic Orchestra of Bethlehem.

I enjoy watching my students grow. I really love Recital Season because everyone is so nervous! However, all of my students still build up the courage to get up in front of a crowd and do what a lot of people are afraid of doing, show their emotions and perform.

Natalie is an awesome teacher. Very knowledgeable and equipped to work with all levels of experience. As an adult beginner she made me feel comfortable and excited to learn. I always have a great time during my lessons with Natalie.

Natalie was an amazing teacher! She was nice and patient with me. She also did everything she could to make sure we rescheduled lessons I couldn’t make it to.

I was a complete beginner. Natalie has a way of teaching that I was really able to grasp the music theory. I am a few months into my lessons now and I am starting to see some real growth. Natalie is a very personable young lady, and a great instructor!

    Frequently asked questions

If the student has been playing for a little while, I will have them play something they have been working on for me at their first lesson.  If a student is new to music, I will walk them through step-by-step on how to read music, understanding all the parts of their instrument, and making sure all their questions are answered in their first few weeks of lessons.

I have a Music Performance education.  I went to school for Music Education and Musicology/Ethnomusicology.  I have also been teaching for 14 years and have performed in multiple different music settings.

All of my students have 60-minute lessons.

    60-minute lessons are $60/lesson.

Payments are made once a month at the first lesson of every month and cover all lessons for that month.

I started teaching in 2010.  My cousin, Marlee, was my first student and I taught her in exchange for chemistry tutoring.  After teaching her, I realized how much I love teaching others and began my studio.

I have worked with students of all experiences and ages.

I would tell the student to make sure the teachers they are looking at offer a consultation lesson.  I do that because it is important to be comfortable with and like your teacher.  If you do not feel comfortable, you will not learn.
